Culturally Appropriate Healthy Eating Educational Tool for Asian Americans: Filipino and Hmong Editions Webinar (2022). Resource Type: Archived Webinar. Description: AAPCHO and MHP Salud presented four culturally relevant My Healthy Plate brochures that include the cultural traditions and dietary preferences of Filipino/a/x and Hmong Migrant Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (MSAW) communities as critical tools in preventing diabetes. In this webinar, speakers from Mabuhay Health Center and Minnesota Community Care shared the importance of culturally relevant My Healthy Plate educational resources, a national survey and health center collaboration efforts, and promising practices.
